ATV plow parts consist of attachment and lifting devices, and
a blade for the actual snow removal. There are three ways to attach
a plow blade to an ATV: winch and winch mount, electronic lift,
and manual lift.
Electronic lift option involves a steel cable attached to a high-strength
that connects to the front of the ATV. The height of the blade
is controlled using a handlebar-mounted rocker switch supported
by a wiring harness. The electronic method is preferred for easy
use and convenience, but if you’re looking for a more cost-effective
method, the manual-style lift is just as useful.
The least expensive ATV plow parts are manual lifts. They consist
of a lever-style arm that’s easily-accessible and enables
the operator to have control over blade height. Electronic and
manual lifts are also both connected to a bracket placed high
up on the frame and toward the back axle to maximize clearance
and counter-balance the weight of the blade.
